Leo "Leksa" Kinnunen, who was born in 1943, died at the age of 73 on Wednesday after losing a battle for long-term illness.
Kinnunen is remembered as a passionate motorbike man, who was able to follow the advances of Finnish motor athletes to their very last moments. He was the first Formula 1 driver in Finland, but he also competed in rally, ground, track and ice racing.
