Yle Rally Radio, produced by the Finnish Broadcasting Company Yleisradio, follows Neste Rally Finland live from start to finish. A prerally warm-up, the “Ralli-ilta” (Rally Night) talk show on Tuesday 24 July, is hosted jointly by Yle Puhe and Rally Radio.
The Rally Radio team consists of nearly 30 people, and there will be almost 60 hours of live broadcast on both radio and the internet (Yle Areena). By listening to Rally Radio out on the stages you can closely follow the tight battles going on in the rally. And those who can’t get to Central Finland to see the rally live, can still follow it live via Rally Radio.
The Rally Radio team consists of reporters out on the stages, the studio in the heart of the Paviljonki Rally HQ, the control room at the broadcasting house as well as the technical and production crew. Rally Radio follows the top drivers of WRC1 and WRC2 on all of the stages as well as the service breaks on this fast-paced event.
The rally studio provides service in Finnish, English and even Estonian on occasion.
